Something not unique (includes generators, blogs, tumblrs, etc.) Something everyone on the internet already knows about (e.g., Netflix, Khan Academy, etc.) What NOT to post (detailed explanations can be found here): To read, browse, and format, please use the official Notion app.Minimal or beautifully designed websites.Īwesome websites that offer a unique service. Notation doesn't display any existing page content. Your notion token is encrypted and stored locally on your phone Pages will be automatically synced once you are online again The app already contains instructions on how to set it up. It just uses the Notion API to send pages to your account after configuring your Notion integration token. This app is not afiliated in any way with the official Notion app. The app is still in early access and you can test it here: Īny kind of suggestions or feedback can be left on this Google Feedback Form: The solution is here! I created an Android app which makes adding pages to databases in Notion so much smoother. Subscription Tracking : Subscriptions (It's an app on Google Play Store) Office Notes (Daily Meeting Notes, Project Planning etc) : OneNote (Due to workplace restriction and O365 support)įiling Cabinet : Evernote / Telegram (Created private channels to store data)īookmark Manager : Raindrop/ Nimbus Notes Notes Taking : Nimbus Notes (It is a cross between Evernote and Notion, has Databases and tables with custom columns, single select, multi select etc) Task Management : Tick Tick (It is just Awesome, FYI : I use the "secret weapon method") And thus I decided to shift things to specialized apps. I began searching a lot on reddit and soon realized that using a single app for everything (and creating my own system in notion) was not the correct approach, companies research so much on task management and notes taking before releasing apps like Todoist and Evernote. Add to that the slowness on android and desktop. But soon I started struggling with the system and the whole point of a productivity system is that the system management should not become a task in itself and I feel the open canvas of notion does that. It had my Personal/Work Task management system and my notes taking system, Subscription tracker, Links(Bookmark) Library etc etc. So when I initially got to know about Notion I was overwhelmed by the amount of things that could be done in it, and within a month or so I had a whole productivity system in it. Super basic functionality is totally broken. You have to click twice to actually create a new line, probably because it tries to avoid creating a separate block and then tries to unify the blocks or whatever. Notion has some bizarre logic where clicking takes your cursor to next line, but then if you start typing, it removes that line! This happens if you didn't add a space before clicking After that I'll just select-all and make them checkboxes or whatever styling, on desktop. I wanted to quickly write down a list, so I would type to go to next line. I see why with only 3 people on the dev team, but I don't understand why they have trouble hiring people tbh.Įditing in notion on mobile (at least, android) SUCKS. It's why it's slow and awkward to use because they don't bother doing any work for any specific use-case. Notion on android is just whatever they have on the desktop/web but with a few cosmetic differences.
